Frequency migration for Hakone Ekiden

(in English) The frequency migration for field pickup units from 700MHz to 1.2/2.3GHz in road race productions provides us with difficult tasks to overcome due to radio wave characteristics. NTV has been testing both 700MHz and 1.2/2.3GHz reception areas for Hakone Ekiden production for the past 2 years. The reception has been especially difficult at 1.2GHz due to interferences from public radars and amateur radios. We have optimized our reception layouts and were able to perform a smooth migration between the frequencies.
