A note on the prevention of heatstroke using sensing data -- Analysis of sensing data based on worker's physical condition --

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) A reliable method to prevent heat stroke is highly sought after for maintaining and managing a worker's health in hot places. The objective of our study is to develop a framework for heatstroke sign detection. To establish a framework, an analysis of sensing data based on a worker's physical condition is presented in this paper. With a multi-sensing band attached to a wrist, feature vectors are obtained from a worker while he/she is working in hot places.Feature vectors whose ground truth is a worker's physical condition reported by the worker are analyzed.
The analysis shows the effectiveness of using several signals for heatstroke sign detection.Time series behavior of sensing data is also discussed in this paper.Unlike existing studies, sensing data that are obtained in the practical situation are analyzed to develop a framework for heatstroke sign detection.
