Luminance Compensation for Image Projection on Swinging Non-rigid Surfaces

(in English) Recently, luminance compensation attracts attention that enables to project ideal images on non-white and patterned surfaces. This technique is able to cancel the influence of the pattern by using the input-output relation of the projection and its target surface. However, the projection surface has to be rigid because it largely depends on the inter-pixel correspondence between the projector and the camera. In this research, we propose luminance compensation that enables project ideal images on swinging non-rigid surfaces such as an indoor curtain by estimating the inter-pixel correspondence in real time. In addition, we examine the effectiveness of the implemented system by using various curtains as the target surface.
