For continuous progress and diversity of image sensors, state-of-the-art and emerging technologies related to the image sensor will be discussed. This symposium explores a future and a frontier of the image sensor in a mixed atmosphere where people from a variety of research fields such as image sensors, optics, image processing, imaging systems, and so on get together. The symposium is composed of invited talks, a poster session, and a welcome party. The paper submission to the poster session will start in September, and the deadline is Oct. 10. A few excellent papers given by IEEE members will be awarded. Please consider submitting your latest work. The scope of this symposium is as follows.

Scope:
- Image sensor technologies
- Image sensor applications
- Imaging systems
- Related process and circuit technologies
- Next-generation technologies for image sensors
