High speed and high accuracy motion vector detection by on-sensor pixel matching

(in English) We propose a method of motion vector detection at high frame rate on a smart image sensor, and describe the design of the smart image sensor on which the method is implemented. In the proposed method, motion vector can be detected by single pixel matching with limited search range for pixels on the detected edge. Additionally, two continuous results of motion detection are compared to reduce effects of noise with controlling the processing interval. Then, the detection accuracy is much improved.
