Development of Optical Interface for Full-Resolution Super Hi-Vision Production Systems

(in English) We have studied an optical interface for Super Hi-Vision (SHV) production systems. In this study, we developed an optical interface which could connect full-resolution Super Hi-Vision production equipment by an optical fiber. The full-resolution SHV signal composed of eight 10G-SDIs was connected by the dense wavelength division multiplexing technology. It turned out that this interface conformed to the bit-error rate specifications of SMPTE 435 by a connection experiment.
