The extracting method in calculating desirable skin fractal dimension

(in English) In the analysis of textured images using fractal dimension to evaluate the state of human skin, we applied the power spectrum method to estimate the fractal dimension of images of human skin surfaces. We extracted features from these skin images to classify the age and gender. For a good estimation, achieving pictures that include accurate information among taken pictures is necessary. But achieving a picture that includes accurate information is time consuming and inefficient. This paper presents an efficient method to calculate accurate fractal dimensions by extracting only relevant information from a picture. The fractal dimension is calculated after cropping sections of a picture to include only the accurate information.
