Decision of Parameters for Distance Carachteristics and Simmulation of Handover

(in English) This paper is concerned with an approximation for the outdoor propagation characteristics by using the three parameters, amplitude factor $\alpha$ and order $\beta$ as well as distance correction $\gamma$.
To numerically determine these parameters, we compare the approximation with the Hata's empirical equations introduced for mobile communications in urban areas.
Numerical computations are carried out for the received power of a mobile station moving randomly among several inhomogeneous cells. Numerical simulations are also performed for the handover of the mobile stations which are moving around among several different types of cells, for example, urban, suburban or rural areas.
