Inverted L Antenna for Keyless Entry System

(in English) An ultra low profile inverted L antenna is numerically analyzed for the receiver antenna of a keyless entry system of the car. In order to miniaturize the antenna size, the horizontal element is bent to the meander shape. The return loss and the radiation characteristics are calculated. For numerically analyzes, the electromagnetic simulator WIPL-D is used.As a result, the size of the inverted L antenna becomes about one sixth.
