Development of pan head device for directional antenna and mileometer of marathon OB Van -- Coexistence of HD high-resolution transmissions and cost-saving practices --

(in English) This is a cost-saving device for uniting higher quality HD transmissions and stabilizations from an outside broadcasting van (a “moving OB van”) during the live broadcast of road races such as marathons. The directional antenna transmits from the side of a moving OB van to a reception point for the steady transmission of HD images, even if there is only one reception point. Certain software has also been developed, inexpensively, to include the use of moving lights on the pan head device around which the antenna turns. Along with the development of an HD mileometer, a mileometer control was also installed and connected to the managing software.
