A study of Periodic Stereo Image which uses a feature of moire interference.

(in English) It is known that 2-dimensional lens array or lenticularlens and the periodic image with periods close to each other make stereoscopic moiré fringes. By applying this principle, Periodic Stereo Image which consists of a sequence of three-dimensional images is developed. The periodic image is made from multi-view images, but it consists of a sequence of reduced images. Hence principle of the display can be explained by Integral photography. For some cases using 2-dimensional lens array or lenticularlens, the creation and the evaluation of Periodic Stereo Images are reported in this study.
