Organic integrated circuits with subfemtoliter inkjet

(in English) We have fabricated organic complementary (CMOS) ring oscillator with four-micron wide silver electrodes that are directly printed on high-performance organic semiconductor films by inkjet technology with subfemtoliter accuracy. P-type pentacene and n-type hexadeca-fluoro copper phthalocyanine are used for the channel layers and formed organic CMOS ring oscillators. The inkjet system can create very fine electrodes which are one order of magnitude smaller than those from typical vacuum evaporation process. As a result, the oscillating frequency of the CMOS with printed electrodes is achieved to 2.26 kHz with voltage of 40 V.
