Display Method for Varying Gamut Adapted to Image Contents on Multi-primary Displays.

(in English) Recently, a large number of studies about Multi Primary Display (MPD) are conducted in order to expand display gamut, and they have achieved a lot of attention for accurate color reproduction. There are countless solution sets of primary colors to reproduce maximum white on MPD because XYZ tristimulus values are reproduced using N-primary color (N is more than 4). Varying the solution set causes changing display gamut. In this study, we verified reduction of color difference by varying the gamut adapted to an image content when a color of it, which is out of gamut, is clipped.
