Generation of Integral Image and Periodic Stereo Image Using MegaPOV

The methods to make some kind of stereoscopic images using MegaPOV, a custom unofficial version of POV-Ray, were studied. It was found that user_difined camera could be used for making Lenticular Images (LI), Integral Images (II) and Periodic Stereo Images (PSI), and camera_view could be used for making II and a part of PSI. These stereoscopic images are generated directly by rendering, and rendering times are much shorter than the methods using optical models. |
