Effect of near conductor on ultra low profile inverted L antenna
Mitsuo Taguchi, Seiichi Sato (Nagasaki Univ.)
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) When the additional conducting plane is located perpendicular to an ultra low profile inverted L antenna on the rectangular conducting plane, the antenna characteristics affected by the conducting plane is numerically analyzed. The design frequency is 2.45GHz. When the two conducting planes are located in L shape, the directive gain of 2.98dBi is obtained in the direction of additional conducting plane. In the numerical analysis, the electromagnetic simulator WIPL-D based on method of moment is used.
