Making a 3D display with ordinary space-filling objects

(in English) Recently, aerial 3D displays which can project stereo-images in the air have been studied actively. Although they can provide realistic and intuitive 3D images, they require large and special devices which prevent daily use in our accessible environments. So, in this research, we propose a method of making an aerial 3D display with ordinary space-filling objects. We capture the 3D architecture of the objects and use them as space-filling materials for the aerial stereo-image projection with arbitrary space and size. In this paper, we especially show the result of 3D measurement for achieving our novel display system.
