Painting-like image generation with KANSEI Information

(in English) Conventional research on Non-photorealistic Rendering proposed various painting methods based on some techniques and knowledge such as brush stroke and the use of color. However, Painterly images require the addition of Kansei information, because Kansei information is an integral part of a painting. In this paper, we propose a novel generation method using converting coloration in a painterly image by specifying an abstract word. Our aim is to generate painterly image with Kansei information to express user’s Kansei information.
