Multirate Block-LIM for Fast Transient Analysis of Tightly Coupled Transmission Lines

(in English) The block-Latency Insertion Method (block-LIM) is one of the techniques for fast transient analyses of large scale linear circuits including mutual inductance and mutual capacitance. This method is much faster than
the conventional SPICE-like simulators. However, in the LIM-based simulation, a time step size is restricted by the minimum value of the circuit elements in a whole circuit. In nature, the adaptive time step size should be used for each subcircuit, which is determined by the parameters in the subcircuit. In this report, the multirate block-LIM
is proposed to adopt the adequate time step sizes for respective subcircuits. Finally, some simulation results are shown, and it is confirmed that the proposed method can reduce the computation time.
