Development of High-frame-rate LED Display for High speed photography

(in English) Slow-motion images captured by high speed cameras are used in sports broadcast. Flicker or jerkiness in the slow-motion images emerges, when a high speed camera captures the LED displays placed in sports stadium while shooting the sports event. These artifacts occur mainly because of the LED’s PWM emission control which is not applied to the high speed photography. Therefore we developed high frame rates, 4320 frames per second, LED display system by means of acceleration of PWM’s clock frequency to solve these problems.
