Prototype of Receiving Antenna for 21-GHz band Satellite Broadcasting System

(in English) We are studying the 21GHz band satellite broadcasting system for a transmission channel to deliver Super Hi-Vision. A reference pattern of the receiving antenna is required to make criteria of frequency sharing between the 21GHz band broadcasting satellites. In this paper, we describe the measured radiation pattern data of the prototype receiving antenna for the 21GHz band satellite broadcasting system, and the compatibility about the applying the 12GHz band reference pattern defined by Rec. ITU-R BO.1213 to the 21GHz band reference pattern.
