Proposal of Font Selection Method using Interactive Genetic Algorithm and Similarity Search

(in English) We often see various types of fonts in advertising media or some package design. There are also many opportunities to select suitable fonts for presentation slides or website designs. However, existing font selection task becomes a hard task as the number of candidates increase, because we select the desired font while confirming the displayed fonts. This report proposes a novel font selection method using Interactive Genetic Algorithm and Similarity Search. This feature is to show some fonts depending on user's KANSEI including various types of fonts. Our method allows the users to select their desired font from many candidates easily.
