Method of changing ratio between horizontal and vertical viewing angle in integral imaging

(in English) A method of changing ratio between a horizontal and vertical viewing angle provides us flexibility of designing three-dimensional (3-D) imaging systems in integral imaging. In our proposed method, an elemental images with a size that was larger than a pitch of elemental lenses was arranged in order to enlarge a viewing angle along a specific direction. Additionally, a lens array consisting of the elemental lenses was rotated to avoid overlapping the specially-shaped elemental images. We developed a capture system by use of the proposed method, and confirmed that rotating the lens array could change the ratio between the horizontal and vertical viewing angle of a 3-D image.
