We developed a novel neural interface device with CMOS biosensor technology for target application in optogenetics which have shown drastic improvement in recent years. Specifically, we developed on-chip type small biosensor with an array of light-emitting diodes. We expect to apply the device for on-chip biological imaging with local optical stimulation realized by the addressing function of the chip. In this report, we describe the design and characterization of the device. |
