Electric Field Distribution Considering Walls, Windows and Residents inside Apartments Having Many Rooms
Masanori Nakano, Toshiaki Matsunaga (FIT), Mayumi Matsunaga (Ehime University)
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Indoor propagation was measured using the realistic inhabited building model. The building model was defined as one floor of an apartment constituted by concrete walls and windows, and had residents. The comparison of measurement data obtained by using the building model having closed windows and those obtained by using the building having opened windows showed that electric field distributions inside buildings became higher by being closed windows. In conclusion, reflections and loss of windows are important effects when we think indoor propagation. Measurements were carried out by using the scaled building model and compared with numerical data obtained by FVTD analyses. Measurement data were agreed very well with simulation data.
