Printed rectangular monopole antenna with circular polarization

(in English) Authors propose a printed rectangular monopole antenna for circular polarization. By simulations, the relationships of antenna geometrical parameters and antenna characteristics (the return losses and the axial ratio of circularly polarized wave) are clarified. Moreover, the calculated return loss and axial ratio are compared with measured results. The good agreement between the calculations and measurements confirm the results of this work. In the bandwidth (the return loss ≦-10dB with axial ration≦3dB), the calculated and measured results are approximately 53% and 60%, respectively. The proposed antenna has similar radiation pattern at the frequency band with axial ratio≦3dB.
