[Special Talk] Experimental examinations in characteristics of antenna from behaviors and microwave to submillimeter wave frequencies of electromagnetic field of lossy dielectric substance neighborhood

(in English) Abstract Research results about antennas and propagation are talked in the presentation. First, experimental studies of electric fields distributions inside and around buildings where constructions of buildings are made by concrete, which are considered lossy dielectric substances as well as electrically random media. Second, design and measurement techniques for microwave/submillimeter wave antennas which are utilized for RFID and radio astronomical observation apparatuses are explained, are shown.
