A Wide-field Image Projection System with Smartphones

(in English) In recent years, many researchers have been tried to provide immersive virtual environments with surrounding images. However, large equipment and complicated calibration of them are troublesome problem for general users. Therefore we propose a wide-field image projection system by using smartphones. This system provides compact and simple installation with the combination of a smartphone and a projector. And geometrical collection with multiple projection units is simply achieved by using smartphone’s camera and CPU. Wide-field image projection is also supported by cascade calibration algorithm with the multiple smartphones.
