Precision improvement in tracking for cell images

(in English) We have proposed a cell tracking technique for cell image sequences in order to assist research in the area of epigenetics, which is based on cell region extraction and cell tracking including parent-child identification. However,, the tracking accuracy was not enough to treat with huge number of cells over images. This paper thus improves the technique by taking cell motion and division into account. Experimental results show that the proposed technique can keep track of more cells precisely than the previous technique.
