Precision improvement in difference detection for similar documents based on image matching and LCS extraction

(in English) We have proposed a comparison technique for mutually similar printed documents using image matching and extraction of the longest common sequences (LCSs). In order to cope with a difference of the bounding boxes for a character, the technique employs a bounding-box concatenation technique and a new LCS extraction algorithm. However, these techniques have not been realized actually in our previous reports. This paper thus tries to implement the techniques completely and revise the matching process. Experimental results show that such an extension is useful to improve the detection accuracy with our method.
