[Poster Presentation] Mismatch Analysis of a Distributed Ramp Signal Generator for In-Pixel Analog to Digital Conversion

(in English) To implement ADC in every pixel is effective for high-speed high-resolution CMOS image sensors. Single slope ADC is a good choice because it can be smaller than the other. To equalize a ramp signal of reference over all pixels is very important but is difficult for a ramp signal generator outside pixels using a buffer amplifier. In this paper, a pixel-distributed ramp signal generator, which consists of unit signal generators in every pixel and interconnects every ramp signal nodes to reduce mismatch is proposed and the mismatch reduction effect is numerically analyzed.
