A Comparison of Integral Photography Generating Methods by CG

(in English) Integral photography (IP) is one of the methods of the best glass-free stereoscopic displays. A method to get an IP image by a camera through a microlens array, and a method of extracting pixels from the images of multiple angles to synthesize a IP image are known. This paper compared and examined the two IP images obtained by these two methods and these two methods using CG. Moreover, because the former had a problem in the precision of a microlens array and the latter had the problem needing many cameras, an method to improve image quality was proposed.
