We have developed a 3D display system based on purely motion parallax. Use of a high-speed vision platform enabled 1000 Hz sampling of a viewer's position. High speed sampling provides smooth pursuit to the viewer's movements. Reproduced distance has been analyzed and confirmed with the developed 3D display system experimentally. Furthermore, we have investigated allowable calculation time to provide smooth motion parallax. |
