Estimation of Vertical Surfaces Directions in Outdoor Environments on Changes of the Incident Angle of Sunlight in Series of Observation Image with a Fixed Camera

(in English) This paper proposes a method to estimate the directions of vertical surfaces in outdoor environments in series of observation images with a fixed camera. This method uses the relation between the brightest time and the direction of a vertical surface. The direction of a vertical surface is that when the incident angle of sunlight is the minimum in observation period. This paper proposes the estimation method using the long term observation. This method use frequency distribution of results by the estimation method in observation period. This paper shows the experimental results of this method.
