In this paper, we propose a method for accurate soccer video segmentation based on the team possessing the ball. Our previous work estimates the degrees of membership for each team tactics from each frame in soccer videos and segments videos between consecutive frames when the team tactics which has the highest degree of membership is changed to another team tactics. In order to improve its performance, we detect the transition between the attacking team tactics and the defense team tactics by estimating the team possessing the ball and realize an accurate soccer video segmentation. |
