In the DTTB(Digital terrestrial Television Broadcasting), service availability is determined by BER(Bit Error Rate) after decode.
BER is decreased by improving error correction capability.
In this paper, we propose new Viterbi decoding method using error information of Reed-Solomon decode and C/N, and describe the results of the simulation about the effectiveness of the method and comparison with the performance of commercial receivers. |
