Modeling and Propagation Experiments of Transmission and Reception Antenna for Millimeter-wave Mobile Camera in 42 GHz Band

(in English) We have studied and developed transmission and reception antennas for wireless Hi-Vision TV (HDTV) camera, called the "Millimeter-wave Mobile Camera" using 42 GHz band. In this report, we modeled and developed transmission and reception antennas which have different half-power angles and evaluated them in NHK hall. As a result of propagation experiments in NHK hall, we found that transmission characteristics can be improved by using a transmission antenna with wide beam and a reception antenna with narrow beam.
