Basic study on modifying weight perception by changing the visual movement while lifting an object

(in English) In our research, we aim to construct a system which can display various weight without any complex structures. We composed a video see-through system which modifies the weight perception using visual feedback evoked by changing the visual movement of the object during lifting movement. By creating this visual feedback, a difference between the position of the real object and the position of the presented image occurs. We introduced a way to compensate this difference, and evaluated the effect of this visual feedback through an user experiment.
