Measurement of Spatio-temporal Frequency Characteristics while Watching Images of PVLC Projector

(in English) Pixel-level Visible Light Communication (PVLC) is a system that can embed location-specific metadata into projected image. However, projected image of PVLC includes blinking with space division, which causes more flicker than ordinary blinking. In this paper, we examined perception of flicker in a wide range of spatio-temporal frequency in order to develop guidelines for prevention of flicker in PVLC system. The result revealed the relation between time frequency and space frequency of projected image which does not cause flicker.
