A study on the signal degradation due to multipath propagation in digital terrestrial broadcasting at the Monami area, Sapporo

(in English) Reception problem, i.e. degradation could occur due to fading, co-channel interference and multipath propagation, etc. in terrestrial digital TV broadcasting. A same case, as for degradation has occurred caused by unexpected multi-path wave propagation at Monami area in Sapporo city within broadcasting cover area from the transmitting station at Mt.Teine. This paper reports a study about the cause and measure in this case.
