TBS Television Inc. has developed the pilot application TV program linkage search service “OMAKASE KENSAKU Hybridcast version” based on “hybrid cast technical-specifications Ver.1.0”, and exhibited it in CEATEC2013.
In this application a broadcasting station broadcasts the search word synchronizing with the contents of a TV program, and displays the search word by the HTML browser of a television receiver and a second screen device (e.g. tablet, smartphone).The user can browse search results and Web contents by easy operation which chooses the displayed search word.
The problem which should be solved as a standard and a receiver function was extracted through verification of this application. |
