We have developed a 3D display system based on purely motion parallax. Use of a high speed camera enabled 1000 Hz sampling of a viewer's position. High speed sampling provides smooth pursuit to the viewer's movements. We report experimental results on influences of latency from the viewer’s motion to renewal of displayed image and discretization in the displayed images upon perceived depth. |
