Discretization Criterion for Generating Random Rough Surface

(in English) This technical report is concerned with a criterion for discretizing random rough surfaces (RRS) generated by the convolution method when we analyze the propagation characteristics along RRS by using discrete ray tracing method (DRTM). Based on numerical discussions, a discretization criterion for RRS generation is proposed in a simple form to guarantee RRS convergence and another criterion for DRTM is also proposed to keep the accuracy of numerical field intensities. Some numerical results are shown to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed criteria.
