A Creating Method of Environmental Maps of the Sky Taking Account of Cloudiness

(in English) The sky plays an important role in creating realistic images of outdoor scenes in computer graphics. Environment mapping is a popular technique to display the sky and creates realistic effects such as reflection of the sky on objects. However, it is not guaranteed to create user-desired results by using photographs as environmental maps. In this paper, we propose a method that enables the user to create user-desired environmental maps of the sky. Our method creates environmental maps by seamlessly compositing several photographs of the sky.
