A Note on Image Classification Using EEG Features during Watching Images (2) -- Verification of Using EEG Features Extracted from Single-Trial EEG for Classification --

(in English) In this paper, we verify the effectiveness of using single-trial EEG for image classification. Generally, the response of EEG to auditory and visual stimuli is recorded over multiple trials. Then Brain Machine Interface (BMI) is realized by using extracted event related potentials. However, in order to relieve subjects of their burden in BMI and realize the application of these systems, it is necessary to consider using single-trial EEG. Therefore, in this paper, we apply an image classification method using EEG features to single-trial EEG, and verify the effectiveness of using EEG features extracted from single-trial EEG.
