(in English) We have developed an achromatic polarizer using novel dichromatic pigments. We established a method to control the light absorption, dichroic ratio, and alignment direction of pigments and successfully developed a low power monochrome-type reflective liquid crystal display with high reflectivity, paper white and motion picture capability.
