[Special Talk] Methods of receiving and broadcasting emergency warning signals for ISDB-T terrestrial digital television standard

(in English) ISDB-T terrestrial digital television standard defines sending broadcasting signal for both fixed and mobile receptions simultaneously in the same radio bandwidth. In addition, the digital television broadcasters would wake up the receivers when in emergency and tune the emergency special program. The wake-up trigger is described in Transmission and Modulation Configuration Control (TMCC) signal, and the improvement in reliability of receiving emergency alert would be possible by ideas in reception and transmission methods of TMCC. In this paper, methods of emergency wake-up are proposed.
