Two-dimensional Positioning for Radio Terminal in 4 by 4 MIMO System Using Leaky Coaxial Cable Antenna

(in English) This article proposes a positioning method for radio terminals by using Leaky Coaxial Cable(LCX) antenna. A Longitudinal position detection method in 2 by 2 LCX-MIMO system using signal TDoA has already proposed. This article expands this system in 4 by 4 LCX-MIMO system and explains how to detect a radial position in 4 by 4 system. In addition, MUSIC algorithm is introduced in the proposal method to estimate position accurately. As a result of performance evaluation by the computer, it is found that the proposed method has high accuracy compared with the conventional method.
