Numerical Analysis Using the Mode Expansion Method of Plasmon Resonance Absorption by the Original Metal Microspheres

(in English) Much attention has been attracted for solar power generation. For reduction of the generation cost,
amorphous silicon solar battery without the worry of the lack of materials attracts attention unlike a conventional
crystal type. Recently, electromagnetic scattering from arrays composed of periodic dielectric bodies have attracted
more and more attention because they are important as highly efficient for solar panels. We analyzed the three dimensional
problem numerically by an application of the modal expansion method. In conclusion, we calculated total
scattering cross section and absorption cross section for confirming the reinforcement of the electric field derived
from surface plasmon resonance and lattice resonances.
