The maintenance inspection of infrastructure is effectively supported by utilizing similar inspection data. Therefore, we propose a quantification method for the similarity of the inspection data, which include distress
images and inspection records. Specifically, we obtain image features and text features from distress images and inspection records respectively. Next, the proposed method calculates weights of each feature by utilizing the evaluated inspection data. The inspection data are evaluated by the engineers for the maintenance inspection. Finally, the proposed method quantifies the similarity of the inspection data based on each feature and weight. Consequently, the similarity of the inspection data that consider the effectiveness of each feature is quantified. Thus, by utilizing this quantified similarity, a more effective support system can be realized. |
