Non-wear Viewpoint Tracking for 3D Projection Mapping

Recently，image representation method called Projection Mapping has a lot of attention．This method can change the appearance of real objects by projecting textures or shadings to the objects from projector．In general Projection Mapping，sometimes distorted image are observed because the viewpoint position is fixed．Some of research are considering observer’s viewpoint，but observer must wear a sensor or 3D glasses for the viewpoint measurement．Therefor，in this research，we propose a Projection Mapping system for dynamic viewpoint position of observer with non-wear viewpoint tracking．This method can achieve real-time and Exact tracking of viewpoint，and provide projected image with motion parallax to observer without wearing any sensors． |
